Description: We prepare our Bloodroot Extract from the rhizome of Sanguinaria canadensis plants which are Certified Organically Grown 1 especially for us in their native forest habitat in eastern Kentucky.
To assure optimal extraction of Bloodroot's bioactive compounds, the rhizome is hand-harvested in late summer or early autumn, is carefully shade-dried, and is then thoroughly extracted.
Our Bloodroot is never fumigated or irradiated.
