Wellness Cough Syrup Homeopathic Formula
Many products temporarily suppress cough symptoms. But for lasting relief you
must address the multiple body systems involved with upper respiratory health.
Wellness Cough Syrup uses homeopathic ingredients to address cough reflex, the
upper respiratory tract and lungs, the chest and throat, the mucous membranes,
  and the body's anti-inflammatory mechanisms.
  - Cough Reflex

Coughing is a normal physiological function. It is a protective reflex used
by the respiratory system to defend airways against irritants. The airways
are lined by layers of mucus that trap pollen, dust, chemicals and foreign
particles (i.e. infectious agents) from the environment. Coughing occurs when
an irritant stimulates the cough receptors in the airway. Nux vomica and elecampane
and other remedies are known for their anti-spasmodic properties.

  - Upper Respiratory Tract & Lungs

Wellness Cough Syrup provides overall support for respiratory and bronchial
problems accompanying bronchitis, laryngitis, colds and flu. White bryony,
blood root and marshmallow address bronchial irritation. Nux vomica relieves
nasal congestion, while phosphorus, blue gum tree and elecampane sooth an
    inflamed and painful larynx.

  - Chest & Throat

The ingredients in Wellness Cough Syrup can help alleviate a variety of throat
and chest symptoms often present with colds and flu. Throat symptoms include
rawness and tickling in the throat, and pain in the throat from coughing.
Chest symptoms include tightness and a feeling of great weight on the chest,
    and chest pain with coughing.

  - Mucous Membranes

When cough receptors are stimulated by irritants the body increases production
of mucus. Coughing clears the airway of mucus containing trapped irritants.
Expectorants such as blue gum tree (Eucalyptus) and horehound facilitate the
    removal of mucous membrane secretions.

  - Anti-Inflammatory Mechanisms

Every time you cough your airways are compressed. Coughing forcefully can
irritate the membranes (lining) of the airways. Inflammation of the membranes
can also be caused by too much coughing, thus perpetuating the cough. Wellness
Cough Syrup supports the body's anti-inflammatory mechanisms. Marshmallow
root in particular is known for its soothing, demulcent properties.
