We use pharmaceutical-grade, certified organic alcohol to make over 90% of our liquid herbal extracts. All bottles are protected with a tamper-evident seal.
Botanical Name: Hydrastis canadensis Plant Part Extracted: Rhizome & Rootlets Contains: Certified organic grain alcohol, distilled water & Goldenseal extractives. We prepare our Goldenseal Extract from the rhizome & rootlets of Hydrastis canadensis plants which are Certified Organically Grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides.
To assure optimal extraction of Goldenseal's bioactive compounds, the rhizome & rootlets are hand-dug in the autumn, are carefully cleaned & shade-dried, and are then thoroughly extracted.
Our Goldenseal is never fumigated or irradiated. Suggested Use: SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. Two to four times per day take 15 to 30 drops in a little water.
